The development in Gwadar and projects associated with CPEC have picked up the pace even during the Covid-19 pandemic, informed the Chairman of China Overseas Port Handling Company.

According to the small print, projects worth $500mn have already been developed on the Gwadar port while the extra projects associated with the event of Gwadar International Airport, Pak-China Friendship Hospital, Pak-China skill development, 300MW coal power station are going to be developed with the support of China.

Simultaneously, industrialization in Gwadar, and along the CPEC also will progress at a rapid pace with industries associated with petrochemicals, cement, mobile processing, edible oil, and residential accessories are going to be established.
